A comfortable fit for my fitness endeavours On the negative side it takes a while to fix equipment when it breaks, and there doesn't seem to be any noticeable investment in upkeep or new equipment purchases. On a positive note the equipment they do have is reasonably high quality, the membership rates are reasonable, staff are friendly, atmosphere relaxed, and location is great.

It has everything you need in a gym. Clean, the equipment is all in excellent condition and even when it's busy it never feels too crowded. Front desk staff is usually in a good mood.

It's a great place to workout. It isn't too busy and the establishment is very well kept. It is clean and the the design is easy to navigate and pleasing to look at. They also offer many different machines and options. A bit pricey but worth it if you are going to use the gym frequently.

Terrible customer service...stay away
I can't believe how poor my experience with this place was, and I barely got my foot in the door. 20 or 30 people at my workplace have a discounted membership, so I went to Goodlife, as I recently moved near one. All I wanted was the same discount that everyone else at my work place have. Nothing more. I signed a membership for 2 years, and was told that this was the specific discount that I could receive.
About an hour later the general manager called me and said they have to void my membership, as they aren't allowed to offer it to me. She gave said I have to secure my own discount from my work place. And on top of that I have to come in again to receive a refund on the first payment that I already paid.
So I called around work for about an hour the next day, nobody knew of any discount that was offerered on "our end" . It should all be done on the gyms end.
I went back a second time and talked to some other guy, who after a half hour of sitting around, gave me a contact that was supposedly in charge of this discount at my work place. I spent another hour or so calling this number and several others that were given to me only to find that this contact is in charge of an entirely different corporate discount.
At this point, I called back to the gym for what seems like the tenth time. I relayed all of this information to the guy on the phone who told me, "I guess you can just go to Gold's".
So thanks for all that guys, all I wanted was the same discount given to 30 other people. But nope. Go to Golds I guess is the company line.
