Best vet in the Niagara region!! Very kind and understanding, loves his job and is beyond amazing at what he does!!! My dog loves going here, he actually gets excited going to the vet! Dr Joe is excellent!!!!

I found it hard finding a good vet in St. Catharines. Most charge too much and do not seem to have a lot of feelings for the animals.
Dr. Joseph has been great for our cat. Very tender and caring, gives great advice. His costs are quite good for a vet as well.

I have to disagree with the ferret owner's comment on Dr. Joe. Presently, I have 8 ferrets and each and every one has been thoroughly examined, treated and kept in good health, thanks to this very kind and experienced man. I have had a few that have had the unfortunate luck to become ill with adrenal disease. All of them are in great shape and have had their little lives extended due to the treatment they have received at Carleton Animal Hospital. Dr. Joe is knowledgeable and well informed of the latest treatments available to help combat this dreadful disease.
He has also treated my cats and our Conure parrot. All are happy healthy and thriving.
Both Dr. Joe and his lovely wife are kind and compassionate people, especially when it comes to the loss of a pet.
As far as his rates go, he is much cheaper than a lot of vets in this city and has to earn a living as well. So for those that complain about costs, perhaps you should have taken that into consideration BEFORE you became a pet owner. Vet costs go with the territory of pet companionship.
Also, for those that rated low with no explanation, you are trolls and friends of a disgruntled client. Very childish indeed.

One thing of the nicest most gentle Dr,s we've ever been to. Very kind and always explains in detail. We would and have ! Recommend this Vet to anyone who's looking for a good Dr to take care of your pets. We've been going to him for years.
