I have always found Dr Boctor and his team to be very helpful and knowledgeable. They have always offered me sound advice on handling my dog's health and I am grateful for their care.

Took my dog there after he ate fern fronds (which can be toxic to dogs). The quoted cost to keep him there overnight was high, and when they drew blood they refused to let me accompany the dog to calm him, and dragged him by the leash into a back room. After seeing how they treated a scared dog (perhaps I've just been lucky to have found other vets with some 'bedside manner'), we decided the overnight stay was not something we wanted to put him through so we paid for the blood tests and were told they would call us with results. They never did, nor did they call to see how the dog was. Not exactly a great experience and would only bring my pet there in the future if it was an emergency.

While I might not have brought my pets to this location due to an initial experience I had with the front desk staff, I will say that Dr. Boctor and Sarah went out of their way to rectify the issue and apologize in person. I truly appreciate and respect the way they handled my issue and in the future I may consider bringing my business back to them. Thanks for everything!

I had to put my cat to sleep after she was diagnosed with cancer and the vet at this animal hospital was so kind and loving to my Siam and I even once she had passed away in my arms he took her from me so very gently like she was his own. In moments when your heart broken little things like treating her so well and sending my family and I a card of deepest sympathies goes a long ways. I appreciated that so much he is also very fair priced and will help you with payment plans. After the whole skyway tragedy it's nice to go to someone who truly cares for your pet.

My husband and I recently adopted our first puppy together and had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Boctor and staff a few weeks ago. Was very hesitant on writing this review as I do have a few complaints regarding the desk clerk on duty, but Dr. Boctor and his assistant were both very lovely and made us feel very confident with our choice of deciding to visit the St. Catharines Animal Hospital! The desk clerk on duty, we believe her name was Sara, was very overwhelming and made us pretty uncomfortable. I'm not sure if she's store manager or not, but the way we saw her interact with her fellow desk clerk ( who was lovely, but unfortunately I can't remember her name) was a bit shocking, rude and disrespectful. Something my husband and I didn't enjoy listening to and dealing with as we waited for our appointment.. Dr Boctor definitely deserves 5 stars as he was so great with our dog, but overall our time in the lobby was frustrating.
