I payed $10 for a drop in which is standard but when I went and asked for a towel after my workout and they said I needed to pay another $1.50 in order to get one, so I had to walk all the way back to my locker just to grab my vredit card for a towel after I already paid $10. The floors in the shower area were disgusting I would suggest having sandals if you go in there. Also the staff was very blah and did not smile. Definitely would not recommend this gym.

Beautiful facility with extended hours if not 24h. Amazed that free access came with @valhallainn stay. Good equipment and very clean sauna/steam room areas. A must visit again.

This place has a high class feel to it. Nice varitie of equipmentpment. But memberships are pricy and its like a contract.

A 10yr member brought me to this gym, signing me up online for a pass to come with them and potentially find a new gym. The staff member ( a short male with brown hair with an I know it all face) greated us. After stating my intent, he basically interrogating my friend and I as to wether I was a resident of TB. After the second time, I made sure he was aware he was repeating himself. (Calling me a liar that was wonderful and extremely welcoming I might add) This all transpired before he handed me the sheet to fill out my information. He then comes back, reviews my ID and sheet stating, he will need proof of residency. Like are you serious? I have had memberships to EVERY gym worth mentioning in this COUNTRY and I have never been grilled over my information like this or for a stupid day pass AT THAT! By this point, I was completely irritated by his snarky attitude, and had no intention of staying, never mind, paying to use anything associated with that gym, which by the way, he had the nerve to suggest I do after. It should be noted that your site DOES NOT say proof of residence is needed nor did the email confirming the pass, never mind that I'm actually a resident. I did not get to work out with my friend as intended and instead of disrupting their workout I left. This fiasco happened Jan 9 @ around 3pm. Good luck getting new members with that guy working the door.

I believe this is a great place to workout. I just moved from Calgary and this gym offers most of the same activities as the facilities in the big city. Movati has a "big city" gym atmosphere. The classes are well run and the instructors are fit, enthusiastic and motivating. The amenities, like the sauna, steam room, pool, jacuzzi and beverage bar, as well as the workout area and fitness classes, all make the membership fee more than acceptable and a affordable. I would recommend Movati to anyone who is looking for place to workout.
