Great place to meet friends and share a drink. The beer selection is decent as is the bar menu. The food was good and the service was also really nice. The staff is very friendly and personable which makes the experience in the end. The reason why I am only giving it 4 stars, it's a pub and doesn't set itself apart from others.

In the last two weeks twice in the early afternoon (1:30 -2:30pm) I have ordered fish and chips, both well done. Both times it is obvious that the fish was dried out and it had been reheated and today the chips were rock hard. In both cases the fish was cold in the middle.Disgusting! Both times I have walked out as the server is rather obnoxious unlike the evening and weekend servers who are extremely nice. This server rather argue with me than apologize. I can't say anything better about a manager there called Mike...arrogant and better suited to a hot dog stand.
Having said that, I have had fish and chips there in the evening a totally different 'kettle of fish'...good.
It appears this pub has a problem in the afternoon. I suggest not ordering after the lunch hour.
There is a big difference between well done and reheated fish and chips.
The server and manger should be ashamed. Maybe they think I just stepped off the banana boat!

Been here for lunch and dinner. Food has been great every time. Has one of the better beer selections in the young and eg area. Staff is very friendly and experienced.

The staff is friendly and on top of their serving game (even when the place is packed).
Food is reasonably priced, tasty and prepared with care.
You won't be waiting around trying to get a servers attention and you certainly won't be waiting on your drink or good either.
Great atmosphere to eat, watch a game or grab a pint.

I popped in for a few quiet beers and ending up staying until after midnight on a Tuesday. The staff were friendly and attentive. The range of drinks was good and beers always cold. Definitely going to be my new local.
