Wonderful and great ambience, high ceiling,s, great art and truly a romantic, first class restaurant. So why a rating of four, one may say? My lovely wife made reservations at Hy's for my birthday and I couldnt be happier with her choice! Our dining experience was phenomenal. The food was incredible and the service was top notch, our server, Alkan, was amazing and so personable. He really brought our night to the next level! Thank you. We will definitely be returning!

Went for my birthday last night and we will definitely be back. The food was excellent, one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. I should also mention the service was phenomenal, we had several people waiting on our table it seemed and each one was very knowledgeable about the restaurant. They were also extremely patient with my wife as she really likes to browse the menu and ask questions before ordering. I would recommend to anyone, but be warned you pay for the privilege.

Top notch, old school steak house experience. Well cooked steaks with typical, but good quality side pairings. It can be a bit noisy for an intimate dining experience, but good for a business meal. I've been several times and will continue to return it when in the area. One of the better choices in the downtown core.

Amazing place! The staff is so polite and on top of their game. Natasha especially is the most kind waitress ever! She knows her stuff and is very genuine. The food is amazing and you will not be disappointed. The atmosphere is very enjoyable and is great if you want to take pictures. Definitely would like to come again.
