Good food, better trivia on Monday nights

Went to the one in Orangeville, 2 of us ordered fish and chips. The portions of fish were ridiculously small. They were over cooked. Took a long time for food to come out. Very disappointing.

Very very rude manager of this place. We placed order, expectation time was 20 minutes, so we waited 35 minutes, then went to ask about our order, they said that it will be another 20 minutes. Seriously?!?!?!?!?! We asked to call manager. He came to us, and said Sorry, turned back, and went away. Extremally disappointed!!!!! Worst location ever!!!!

I have been a St. Louis customer for over 20 years and have referred your fabulous recipes to many people. I remember starting at Avenue Road Bistro and then frequenting your Davisville location along with other Toronto locations. I moved to western Ontario and regularly went your franchise location in London for the short time he was open.
Over all the many, many visits I have never been disappointed until tonight. My husband and I (he has frequented St. Louis longer than I have) went to the Oshawa location at King & Stevenson. We were so glad when they opened and have been there more often than I can count. We have always been pleased with the service, the food and the atmosphere. Tonight, though, was a far exception from the normal.
The restaurant was very quiet (normal for the high vacation season). We selected a high top in the bar area. I recognized the bartender as someone I had seen serving on the floor but not behind the bar - at least while I was there. The first few minutes were odd as there was four servers having a mini meeting at the edge of the bar - no regard for the customers who were waiting for a menu or for a drink order.
When she finally came over she took our drink order and left us with the menu. When she returned we ordered an appetizer - the NEW 7th Heaven Layer Dip and we each order the Wednesday burger special. My husband ordered his with goat cheese and I order with Marble and no bun. She returned to the computer station at the bar and within seconds a bar patron was yelling at us that she was trying to get our attention. I acknowledged her thinking it was odd that she did not come back to the table, but I proceeded to confirm our order as she seemed to forget the basics. Within two minutes she was at our table stating she felt like she was missing something. When we re-stated our order, she said "oh yeah, the mayonnaise on the side is what confused me". I thought that was poor representation, but nonetheless, continued on with our viewing of the TV's.
At least 20 minutes went by when my husband called out to her behind the bar. She came over and that is when we asked her if she was bringing us our appetizer before the meal.. Her response floored me -"Oh yeah, I did not put that in. That is what I forgot. What me to put it in now - it only takes a second." First - I do not want to know that a food with dairy products only takes a second - that has food safety concerns. Secondly and more importantly, she did not once apologize for her error. We told her to cancel and her response was - "are you sure". I would have appreciated an apology for her error, but instead she made us feel like we were a bother.
In 20+ years I have never had a bad experience with St. Louise until tonight. It has me thinking if I will ever go to that location again. NOT the experience I am accustomed to at all.
