On the morning of Feb 20th, 2016, I was driving home after a few drinks with friends when I was pulled over by the Durham Region Police and arrested for impaired driving. As my breathalyzer results were 110 and 120, I was also charged with Over 80. I was feeling really scared and helpless and looked to hire a defence lawyer to fight the charges. The thought of a criminal conviction was horrifying. Not only would it totally derail me personally but also it would ruin my professional career.
I consulted several lawyers but I did not feel a comfort level in having them defend me. One of my friends highly recommended Ron Jourard as he had successfully defended my friend’s DUI charge. I did some research on Ron and I saw he had extensive experience in cases involving serious driving offenses. I called Ron and he made me feel comfortable right away by giving me realistic feedback and his professional opinion on the possible outcomes of the case. expectations. With driving disqualified, careless driving and drug possession charges I thought my life was irrevocably damaged. Ron Jourard is a professional and competent lawyer who has effectively represented me not once, but twice. He helped me out with an assault charge and got the charges removed since I was not at fault. He and his team handled the matter in a timely manner and kept me in the loop every step of the way. They were there to answer emails and phone calls whenever I had questions and truly stood up for my rights.
Due to his excellent service the first time around, I reached out to him to

My friend referred me to Ron when I was charged with impaired and over 80. After meeting with three other lawyers, I have decided to work with Ron, because I felt that he is prudent and honest, and I was right. I wanted to give up many times because it was a long process and wasn't sure of the result. The only reason I kept going is because of Ron and his devotion to the case. I am not going to say he will win every case, but I can tell you that he will try in every way to get there. Thanks to his hard work, my charges were dismissed and have no record.
