This park is a little oasis in core. The big trees provide plenty of shade. It could use an upgrade to the layout and play equipment.
I take my younger kid here while her big sister goes to gymnastics around the corner. She enjoys this park too.

This is a decent park. It gets a bit sketchy with university students and street folk camping out under or around the play structures. Some dog owners do not pick up after their dogs and let them run in the play area designated for kids. No bathroom facilities here either. Otherwise its good for a visit for kids.

This is the only playground that I've encountered near the University of Toronto. So for students, staff, or visitors to UofT with kids - this playground has some quite nice equipment and its in a quiet, fenced-in location.
