They totally renovated the place just a few years ago. Now - an ugly surprise- the whole playground is fenced, and they are digging again. Somebody's good friend needs business, I suppose.. And historically, and until recently, it was called Davisville Park. I hate it when they remove historical names and commemorate some politician or city bureaucrat..

It's green in the summer, snowy in the winter and pretty big all year round. Also, it's got a very average farmer's market every Tuesday where a bunch of yuppie moms show up and act cultured, it's fantastic.

It's a great place to go sit and read a book and watch parents and kids having a good time.

I LOVE this park! It's got tons of young kids running around, an active tennis court, a lot of nice space to sit, a farmer's market periodically, and my favourite part: a musical area with xylophones and other percussion instruments that are quite accessible to non-musicians. The xylophone even has large colour-coded sheet music of basic nursery rhymes. Pretty cool!

Was and still do go by many names!! Davisville Park and The famous Children Band Group Sharon Lois and Brahms!!!! Wonderful ball field! Tennis courts and Seasonall Food Fair on Tuesdays from 3 pm to 7 pm!!? Farmers with fresh foods!!
