Great selection of frames. They are not cheap like IKEA but they have character, especially the reclaimed wood frames that they have which are stunning and one of a kind.

I had them mount a Barrie Wentzell print of Marc Bolan that was a gift from Barrie. The print was on archive paper. They have mounted Barrie's prints before, so I assumed it would be in good hands. I went to pick it up, and mentioned that I thought it wasn't done well as they creased the print so bad that it's got two little cleats on it, right at the bottom and top. They said that's how the archive paper turns out sometimes when you mount it. I've had a few people say that it wasn't mounted very well. I would be cautious with them if it's something that you really value.

I went there today with a print to frame, brought 3 frames to the counter to compare all under the glare of the woman who runs the place. She begrudgingly showed me a size i couldn't find.
When I decided I needed to think about my decision, and started to walk away, she glared at me and said "Who's going to put all these away? " (only 3!) and I asked if she was serious. She said she was. I asked if she wanted me to come back to buy a frame. The only smile I got was when she replied "No. No I don't!".
The irony is that I was going to put the frames away, but based on her demeanor I thought she wouldnt like that so I didnt.
What a lovely lady.

This place is very reasonable as framing is often an expensive part of your art purchase . Once you go to large frames, other places can ding you for $300-400. At Victor Gallery you can get a frame for under $100 with a mat if you go with the pre-made sizes. I.E. a 20x30 + a mat is around $100. These frames do not look cheap at all if you chose the right one for your picture. The nice thing about digital photography is that you can actually size your picture to the frame. Their custom frame prices are also reasonable. They only have 4 mat colours, which meets most needs, but you can always get mats somewhere else if you really need special colours. They have a solid business model. Limited styles, lots of sizes, great prices. Highly recommended for many types of pictures.

I absolutely love Victor Gallery! They have frames in every size and wood finish you could imagine. They are very good at custom framing as well. I get tons of photographs and prints framed every year and I always go to Victor Gallery first. Pricing is very competitive and turnaround is quite fast! If you have framing needs you should definitely check them out!
