Kathy and her team are amazing! Provide options, appointment availability, and really show genuine care for your pet. I couldn't have asked for much more and they will now be our regular vet.

I have mixed feelings about this clinic. They seem to care and have nice emough staff but its a hugh rip off. They are way over priced and are alway trying to proscibe medications or do blood tests that are unnecessary. I was once told that my dog would benifit from glucosamine. The pills they tried to give me were over $50 dollar's. So I then asked why I couldent just buy it from Shoppers Drug Mart over the counter and if there was a difference. The vets face dropped as she told me there was no differnce. There have been a few more incidents like this that have made me write this review.
As a dog owner, you become acquainted with other dog owners in the nabourhood. I have had many dog parents tell me that they have also had similar experiences with this clinic. The wost of all was an elderly gentleman down the steet. He owns a 17 year old Yorkie, who was once owned by his departed mother. They are toying with this mans emotion by telling him that there is more they can do for his dog. He goes in at least once or twice a week and is charged $75 for examination and has to pay an additional $20 for his dog's prosecutions. He has made it clear that he wants to have his beloved pet put down because he is not happy watching her suffer, but tells me that he is guilt tripped by the staff there to continue treatment. The dog can barely breath and cant even walk half a block.
You can hear her wheezing and her lungs are full of fluid, shes in so much pain. Its disgusting to see what some people are capable of doing for money.

I'm so thankful for everything Dr Alcock did for my dear Sasha. Last August she was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Dr. Alcock is an amazing vet she helped us during this enduring time. She took amazing care of Sasha as well she gave me the support I needed she was always available to me if I had any concerns or issues. She totally understands what I was dealing with. I couldn't have asked for a better vet. If you are looking for a truly caring and understanding vet Dr Alcock is the vet you want.

I could not ask for a better health care facility for my pets. Superb veterinarians and vet techs! I say health care, because they know their stuff and they genuinely care. Very clear explanations of issues, always prompt with appointments, friendly professional staff throughout the clinic, reasonable pricing and parking! :)
Have been to a few other vets in my 16 years of being a pet mom and have finally found what I'm looking for.
I could not ask for a better health care facility for my pets. Superb veterinarians and vet techs! I say health care, because they know their stuff and they genuinely care. This place is amazing. Honestly, you won't find anywhere better. The level of care and service is exceptional, the veterinary standard is top class, and you don't feel at all concerned about the cost compared to other vets. I highly, highly recommend Ashbridges Bay, they are the best!
