I had a great experience at this vet clinic with Dr Julie Downer. I came home at 8:30pm to find that my cat was quite ill and needed to be seen as soon as possible. I had never been to this clinic before, but I called them because they are open late on week nights. They were able to fit me and my cat in within an hour. I left my cat overnight so that they could collect a urine sample. I know that my cat was well looked after, and I was pleasantly surprised at the cost. Going to the vet is never cheap by any means, but my bill came out to a lot less than I would have expected. I didn't feel like they were pushing meds on me or guilting me into spending more than I could afford.
Dr Downer called me personally the next evening to discuss the results of the analysis and talk about the next steps, and someone else from the clinic called me a few days later to ask how things were going.
I will most likely make this my regular vet clinic, even though there are a number of clinics closer to my home. I especially appreciate the convenient late night hours.

The receptionist here is thoroughly incompetent.
She called me to book a follow up appointment after my cat's injury, and was pushing the pain meds really really hard as if she was getting commission on them. I see my cat everyday and the tone that she was using was riddled with undeserved urgency. She was extremely condescending about the way I raise my cat and would not accept my opinions or discretion as if she knew better than me (which I'm sure she does, but the tone was all wrong). Long story short, she threatened to call the SPCA on me and hung up on me.
Now, I love my cat more than any other random human. This woman is just highly unprofessional and plain rude. I'm never going to this place again.

I brought my cat Samantha here and she was 17yrs old. The Doctors and staff were incredibly honest, compassionate, caring and professional. They did not lie to me by doing more tests than where needed. In the end when I had to put Samantha to sleep, they made the difficult process as comfortable as it could be. Tiffany, from the moment I called for my appointment, was caring and supportive, thank you from to bottom of my heart.
I brought my cat Samantha here and she was 17yrs old. The Doctors and staff were incredibly honest, compassionate, caring and professional. They did not lie to me by doing more tests than where needed. In the end when I had to put Samantha to sleep, they made the difficult process as comfortable as it could be. I have been bringing my cat to Bloor Animal Hospital for the past 2 years, and would highly recommend it! The doctors are all fantastic. My cat has recently been in the hospital, and even through shift changes, each doctor has been extremely thorough, and have called me morning and evening with updates on my pet. I've always found their pricing to be very fair, and they only charge for what they need to (my bill was even reduced for something they didn't need to do!). Their hours are fantastic! It is great to know that my pet can receive excellent care to fit with my schedule, at a reasonable price. Thank you to everyone at Bloor Animal Hospital for taking such good care of my cat Fizz!
