Do not recommend. I know that animal medicine can be more of an art than a science at times given they are not able to tell us what's wrong, but I just want to warn others that I did not have a good experience with this clinic. I know they are not bad people, but I just think that there are better options.
Despite expensive blood work and fecal analysis they were not able to come up with a reason or solution to my dog's digestive issues. Thankfully I declined having him admitted overnight which would have cost me $470 and surprise, he's fine. I was continually buying the digestive i/D food for a couple months and his issues lessened but were not solved. I managed to solve his digestive issues on my own with a suggestion from a PetValue employee... Attaching receipt for evidence this is not a "fraudulent review". Second photo is of my dog, healthy and well after a recent trip to his new vet.

So grateful to Dr. Clara Bureau for allowing me to walk-in 5 minutes after opening without an appointment with my cat who had become ill overnight. This was an overwhelming relief since my little guy was having some obvious discomfort and needed treatment quickly. He is now on the mend. Thank you/Merci beaucoup for caring for and treating Mushy Peas. =^..^=

I would give this place no stars if I could. I have also sent a letter to the Veterinary Board for investigation. Here's why:
* Filthy Premises.
* Did not even confirm reason for visit.
* Roughly handled my pet and I've seen her do it to others.
* Zero compassion for animals or humans.
Steer clear.

Dr. Clara Bureau is the owner veterinarian at Fraser-MacDonald Animal Hospital at 1632 Bloor Street West. We have been clients of this veterinary clinic x 35 years and Dr. Bureau has been a wonderful vet caring for our two older dogs and my daughter’s young dog through the past few years. She is approachable and compassionate, and has been willing to explain and offer options for care for our pets. We have been given the opportunity to pursue all avenues of treatment, but have not been pressured to perform prohibitively expensive tests or treatments as part of our dogs’ treatment. She has made herself available for follow-up appointments and after-hours for emergencies and has been reachable by email or phone. Dr. Bureau has been regularly available for urgent appointments, and the clinic has parking, which is really helpful when trying to deal with a sick dog. We will continue to bring our pets to Dr. Bureau for care, and recommend her and Fraser-MacDonald Animal Hospital for providing excellent veterinary care for pets.

After being overcharged by another vet, we took one of our cats - Folle - to this vet a few years ago and were super impressed by the service that she provided us. Not only did she charge us about half the price that the other vet down the street was trying to charge, but our cat came home happy, healthy, and ready to take on the world.
While this operation was about 2-3 years ago, our now senior cat (~12 years old) is still active and loving life. :)
