I've been taking my dog Milo here at Harbourfront Animal Hospital for about 3 years now. I'm above and beyond satisfied with the kind of care and detailed instructions I receive from the Doctor and his staff in terms of administering his medications after consultations. The staff are very friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend Dr. Slav and his staff to take care of your pets needs. They have a great team and I'm very confident his diagnose and recommendations are accurate.

Came in for stomach problem (blood in diarreah like-poop), the vet gave me a bill for $600 that included all sorts of things not relevant to the issue at hand like flea juice, heartworm test, parasite testing, etc. When asked about it he said there are two bills, one $350 that is just stuff for the stomach problems, and the $600 which had other things. Must of thought I looked like a sucker. Even then, the recommended initial treatment by vets online was soft diet for a week. Doc gave her some hardcore antibiotics, which was not recommended online, but I gave them to her anyways. She lost a lot of weight due to the side-effects, she did not want to eat or drink for a week after the antibiotics, which after some research, were 4x the max dose recommended for her weight. Two weeks later same blood in poop again, all that for nothing. Gave her soft diet (butternut squash/chickenbroth) for a week, then started mixing in her food little by little. Few weeks later now, she is recovered. Her poops are good. Her stomach just needed a break for a while, this is the kind of advice money hungry vets are not going to give you.

Moved away from Harbourfront but I still bring my cat here. Wonderful, down to earth veterinarian and very helpful staff. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Toronto!

After being told that she should just be put down by another vet, I rushed my dog Panda here not wanting to accept the fact that she wasn't able to get better. The doctor told me that she was very sick but that he would do what he could to help her. 5 days later and my Panda is sitting next to me, sleeping, and hopefully sees many years to come.
Dr Debski and Ashley were very helpful, polite, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was okay with Panda. I can't thank them enough! Thank you for everything.
