I've been coming to Bin for nearly a decade. I live in Alberta but travel to Whistler for ski season often.
EVERY SINGLE TIME I go through Vancouver my partner and I eat here, without fail. This food at Bin is incredible. When comparing other restaurants, including top rated restaurants such as Spago in Maui, or fine dining in Spain, Germany or XO in Montreal, Bin is what we use to compare to. It has not been topped in all those years.
While items have changed here and there over the years some of our favorites are always there. The duck beast is phenomenal. The truffle oil pea shoots cheese potato side will make your eyes close in ecstasy. The beef in puff pastry makes your toes tingle. And those fries, oh that mountain of fries.
Ok yes, it's tiny, and yes if you don't get there early you will be waiting, and yes, sometimes the servers are stretched a little thin, and yes, the music and ambiance is... Odd, but that's part of the character of this incredible restaurant.
Take a bite and you will forget any misgivings.

First time here for a friend's birthday party. Cozy and Cool atmosphere with good music playing in the background. Ordered some food and drinks from the happy hour menu, was told it was an old menu and my drink of choice was not available... gOrdered Navajo bread with sauces, cauliflower and mussels... Sorry no mussels... Bread and sauces were delicious, cauliflower, very good. When we were able to, ordered some more food from the main menu. Beef wellington, boccacini salad both very good. Duck was rubbery and tough. Gnocchi was super salty. Service was very slow. Place is very busy during the happy hour times but cleared out afterwards. Food 3, service 2, atmosphere 4,cleanliness 3 =3.5 Will give this place another try, so time will tell...

Very nice food, had the octopus, tuna, Brussel sprouts , lamb skewers, bell pepper hummus and the bread. Also the Bin 941 pale ale, rose wine and old fashioned. All very good. Very nice bread. Octopus had a chicken tikka taste. Lamb skewers just like it should be! However, service is slow (the server was great, but was the only server serving approx 20 people).
