Cold attitude by the Aussie waitress. We were ignored pretty much after we gave our order. We both felt as if it was a hassle for her to even attend to us. Asked for a sample of a beer that never came. We were only spoken to once when we ordered and once when we paid.
My GF tipped 15% which I thought was far too kind. They don't give a s**t.

Price was ok, but that was about it. The staff allowed smoking at the table next to us, and I almost swallowed a shard of glass in my beer. I brought the shard of glass to the manager and they simple said "what do you want from us" and I literally had to ask them to apologize to me. The service was timely in giving us food, but it would have been nice not to have pierced my mouth and be subjected to second hand smoke.
Clarifications to owner's response: The staff were aware of smoking in the booth next to us, and proceeded to check in on the status of their drinks as they were smoking. It was at that point that we spoke to to the staff, however we didn't see them approach the people smoking. Perhaps we missed it, but we were sitting next to their table.
We also did hear your apology, however it was only after we asked for one. There was no sympathy from the manager/owner about nearly swallowing the glass shard, and they didn't even ask if I was ok after I showed the shard to them.

It's a good place. Just too small. Compared to what it used to be, the owner was forced to move from station square in Metrotown due to the new developments and he had to bring the business to this place.
Good food. Good service. Some of the waitresses from that other pub are here. They are nice. Good beer. Park on the street. A few slots at the back. Watch for 15 minute park for the beer store.
Not difficult to find parking around.
They have happy hour in the evenings and day specials.

Great for big groups and teams. Decent food, good selection of beer, relatively clean, and free street parking. You get discounts if you play on a Vancouver ultimate league team. Also, if you sign in to their wifi using your email, you get a $5 coupon for spending more than $50 (easy for groups).

The East Side Craft House pub is amazing. We have been there twice now. The atmosphere is very uplifting.
Tracey our waitress is a real gem! She goes above and beyond and is full of energy.. The food is amazing. We love their wings and on Wednesdays , wings are $6.00 / lb. Their potato skins are the best I have ever tasted. The owner makes you feel like you are invited to her home.She is amazing too. We do not live anywhere near this amazing pub, but we will definitely be going back .
