Good prices not too loud as there are residents upstairs and being owned by BC.HOUSING THEY GIVE OUT NOTICES, BUT are seldom listened to it is subsidized housing so,,, tenants are used to fighting evictions and it's a win no win situation it's harder to evict, that it is tooooooooo find a place so they fight fight fight evictions all the way to the courts

This place get 5 stars for what it is. This cheap bar does not try to be anything other than what it is. Amazing prices on drinks, super nice friendly staff and an interesting mix of people coming and going all the time.
If you are going to any event nearby you will likely pay double the price for drinks so starting at the Savoy is always a good option.

they have cleaned the place up a bit, used to come here a lot more before the rickshaw got a permanent liquor license. still cheaper to run over here between bands next door. they do actually have shows of their own pretty regularly at the moment, and karaoke etc too. staff has always been nice.
