It's pretty expensive to buy booze here, but if you look for the deals, sometimes it's not so bad. They have a ton of single beer options which is nice.

Jaks has a great selection and nice staff. You pay a small premium over a bc liquor store, but it's worth it

This place marks up wine big time . It's at least 10.00 more a bottle compared to the government liquor store a few blocks away. I bought a Rose for 14.00 and a month later they marked it up to 24.00 in the summer.
I hope it closes soon.
Bad karma. Go to the liquor store on broadway for better selection and prices.

Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Access to some unique items not available at BC Liquor stores. Dog friendly.
