My appointment was at 2:45 and they started around 3:40. Almost 1 hour wait. I asked if I could get any French or stones but she firmly said no and I should have told her in advance. I said okay. However, my friend who was sitting beside me, she was able to get whatever design she wanted. I asked my stylist how could she get what she wants and not myself? And she told me the stylist who is working on my friend's nails doesn't have any customer left but my stylist has got some. I then asked "well I waited about an hour so why cant your next customer wait a little bit while you are doing my nails?" And she didnt give me any clear answer. In other words, terrible customer service. I doubt she got enough skills so that it takes her such a long time. What kind of nail salon has to know what exactly their customer want ahead of their appointment? I came all the way from Burnaby and it was such a total waste of my time on Sunday. Just go somewhere else and get the nails whichever you like girls.

I came here the first time because I wanted to try the Bio-gel polish instead of regular gel and I have been back many times since, always LOVED the results, the ladies are all awesome and the shop is super cute and comfy - never going anywhere else personally :) :)

Was dissapointed at my visit. Bad set of acrylics. Had better job and faster from students. Tech left half way through to pay get meter? Tried to rebook months later. Could not get a tech to do form application or pinching. I am confused why they are so expensive. When I went I had a terrible experience.

I love Varnish, I can't believe I haven't left a review yet! I'm a massage therapist so cleanliness is very important to me and it's always spotless. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. The owner Lin is lovely and you can tell that she is passionate about running an exceptional business. Tanh and Nikki are fantastic, they both do meticulous and gorgeous work. There's no point in even trying anywhere else, best nail services in Vancouver!
