Meh. Foods all right, the staff is rude, its one of those places that nakes you worry whats going on in the kitchen.

A gem of East Vancouver! This place is non-pretentious, good, cheap Chinese food. Don't expect Earls-level service but they are very nice. They're also open late night.

As soon as I got seated, a giant roach ran across the table. Luckily the waitress was able to perform a Buddhas palm strike instantly killing it. Time was 6pm,I ordered the curry beef brisket, shrimp fried rice and beef in green pepper & black bean sauce with rice noodle. If you like curry beef brisket- this is not the place to get it. it tasted like they took a few pieces of the stewed beef and mixed it in with whatever veggies was available. In todays case onions and celery. The shrimp fried rice normally has a lot of shrimps but I wasn't able to find more than 7. The black bean beef was somewhat tasteless. Overall todays visit was mediocre as expected.

To be honest, when I first tried this place, I thought it looked a little shady...but to my surprise, the food is actually pretty good and the prices are great. My favourite is their 生炒糯米飯 and 幹燒伊麵. I always eat there if I'm in the area!
