Perhaps Vancouver's only traditional dimsum restaurant that remains today (2017). They serve dimsum on push cart with ladies who are sincerely promoting their dishes. I take my grandmother here every so often on our circuit of the numerous dimsum restaurants and it's a great value. Today, we had glutenous rice wrapped in lotus leaf, steamed BBQ pork bun, beef rice rolls, beef balls, dried soy wrapped mushroom rolls, and egg custard buns. I forgot to take pictures because it was family time, but several dishes were well done and so I'll have to go back again soon to take the pictures. The staff are all professional and traditional, while friendly with the old school Cantonese feel. They have live music with a dance floor several nights a week, and you can book a private room to do karaoke too. Just be aware that there are no auditions for the karaoke and so when the doors open, you may either laugh or cry or both!

I come here quite a bit so I'm probably a bit biased, but the food is good and the service is nice and we usually get a table full of dim sum within the first couple minutes of sitting down. Sometimes the ladies that work there come by and try to force us to eat more dim sum, but there's a limit to how much dim sum you can eat. They can be a bit pushy, but you gotta push back. Don't let nobody push you around in life, unless that's your thing. But then again, sometimes you should stop being so stubborn.

People have to understand Chinese restaurants. Service will never be top notch. Dim sum here is good. It's a write what you want, with a few items carted around.

One of the best Chinese Dim Sum's in the downtown area.
Always quick service here, with reasonable prices.
Bring a group of 6-8 people and you can order a wide variety of items. Normally everyone will be very full for around $20.
