The new location is bright and airy, about twice the size of the previous place.
I'm a vegetarian and my friend has a severe wheat allergy, but they have never had a problem accommodating us. (We do let them know when we make our reservations.)

This is my favourite restaurant in Vancouver. Their high tea is amazing as well as their breakfast/lunch menu. Their hash brows are to die for and you cannot go your whole life without tasting their heart shaped cheese scone breakfast sandwich. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Everything is delicious and very cute. The whole place is decorated well and the service staff rotate helping each other, it's very quick and efficient. The price is a bit high for me to consider it a 5 stars.

Secret Garden used to be a quiet, calm sophisticated tea house. Their Creamy Earl Grey is delicious. I usually treat my Mother every year for Mother's day and I have done so for the last 6 years. However, since they opened at their new location, it has become Loud. I mean LOUD. When you go to High Tea, it isn't cheap; so you expect to have a comfortable, relaxing, enjoyable experience. It is NO LONGER that. The service was VERY slow. It took over 25 min for our food to come out. We ran out of Tea, and it look 20 minutes for our server to fill our pots with hot water. The tables are really close together. It's not a private and intimate experience anymore. A REAL shame. I drive an hour to get there. I no longer need to, because I WON'T be going back anymore.
