Have gone here twice, good food and good selection of beers. The service has been questionable though. Watched the server texting often during our 1st visit and being a little more productive the 2nd, drying drinking glassware but not paying a lot of attention to the few customers in this establishment.

Stopped in to get away from mobs of tourists - The Churchill is completely walkable from all the major downtown tourist destinations but the crowd is local. One of the best tap lists of local craft beers I have seen anywhere much less Canada. But even for folks not into beer their cocktail and wine selection is decent as is their bar menu. Special shout out to the bar tender that helped us, didn't catch his name, beard/read hair - you were fabulous, thank you.

Hole in the wall bar that uses the same kitchen as garricks head. 50 beers on tap, small menu but great food. Staff is attentive. Place is usually empty which makes it a great place to work. Drink is never empty food comes out quickly.
To the person who gave this place a 2 star for unprofessional staff: very poor review for such a low review. What is your definition of professional staff? This isn't a Michelin rated bar, check your expectations as to what a bar should be.

This is one of my favourite places for beer with 50 beers on tap you cant go wrong they also have allot of cocktails and quite a bit of wine selections. Food is pub food that just hits the spot. Love this place very friendly staff. The staff knows there beer, cocktails, and wines. Strongly recomend.
