Cool hotel close to downtown featuring vintage styled rooms. 2 classic vans used for shuttles, free bike & longboard loans to guests.
Small diner located in the main lobby. No coffee offered in the rooms, but always fresh, free coffee available in the lobby.
Next trip we will be trying to book the vintage Airstream trailer they have on site to stay in.

I loved staying at Hotel Zed. The decor is fun and wild. The staff is super helpful and friendly. And the food at the Ruby is delicious!

Hotel is trying to be different with retro atmosphere. Clean and comfortable with a good restaurant. A budget type hotel, but comfortable. No air in our standard room, but fans were provided unlike similar but more expensive lodgings. Would stay again.

We stayed here on a short visit to Victoria. It was a fun hotel and we loved it. A lot of fun decor and a great atmosphere. We borrowed a couple of the bikes they offer and went around town for a little bit. I do wish I had brought swim wear to at least try the water slide. Only thing I would like is if they had a curtain so that when you are showering you have a little privacy. Otherwise a great place to stay.

It's a sweet retro budget hotel. Three of us stayed in the cottage, a fully sized two bedroom suite with kitchen and living room. There was also a porch which was wonderful to sit on in the evenings. The shuttle was an added bonus as it picked us up from Victoria and took us to our wedding the next day. Expect budget, no frills, fun accommodations. Staff, specifically Carmen on the front desk and John who drove the shuttle were kind, quirky, and helpful. There's an airstream you can stay in, a pool, and a water slide.
