Near mint little shop. Owner is awesome, friendly and knowledgeable. I'm not a dedicated collector by any means, but am never met with disdain when I ask simple questions. This place has a dedicated following and it's nice to have a local place you can go to where you can pursue a passion.

I have my pull list here for a reason. Its very central and the owner is very friendly and accomadating. Ive been to all of the comic shops in winnipeg and i have to say. This place has the best deals, prices and a great selection. I always find what i am looking for.

Went there on a Saturday and the store was full/empty? there were three other customers and yet it was impossible to browse. One fellow had 5 bags with him and he just dumped them on the ground blocking a good portion of the aisle. Another fellow was looking at a catalogue of statues and had all of his things sprawled out over an entire section of back issues and didn't seem concerned that someone wished to look at the items he was blocking. The clerk couldn't have cared less. He was chatting away with statue fellow about Netflix and saw that someone was trying to view the items being blocked, but said nothing and realised that the other fellow's bags were disrupting the flow but was only concerned about the story being told of a New Mutants 98 pick-up. Don't get me wrong I love the chatting and the comic themed atmosphere, but someone needs to keep things running. When I asked about silver aged books, I was directed to three half empty short boxes near the door full of drek, and told that is it. The prices on the bronze/copper books were high. The selection was poor. Heck the 'wall books' (the supposed good ones) were made up of Rom 1 and Micronauts!!!! Sad. Now that Comics America is gone, this is the worst LCS I have been to in Winnipeg.

Notice that I wrote A Saturday, not LAST Saturday. I know that you were not present that day because the clerk gave me a card with your name on it. He told me to call you and ask about SA because he did not know of any other SA then what was by the door, the three short boxes I was directed to. The clerk was an older gentleman.

I've shopped at pretty much all of the comic stores in the city, both active and defunct and this is hands down the best one that's existed. Super friendly and knowledgable owner who does whatever he can to make sure you find what you need and is always willing to special order for you. He never gouges you and prices things extremely fairly. (Best prices in town!) While the store may be small, it's jam packed with whatever you could ask for.
