The sales racks are great they set stuff on sake for 70% off. I got a dress shirt on sale for under $20 before tax. If you go know its a puzzle to find the items on sale because they mix it up bit if you look hard you can find them.

I used to shop here for diesel jeans but after the treatment I had last time I was in store...never again. The sales rep was lazy and rude. I had several pairs of jeans I wanted to try on, and I never waste time trying stuff that I'm not planning to buy and I normally buy 2 pairs at a time.
The antitheft devices were clipped on in the waist band and are angular and protruding. I asked the rep to move the device elsewhere, like the bottom of the leg...
The rep was extremely rude and said he couldn't move the device, but I insisted and explained how that didn't make sense since:
1) it could be moved back afterwards
2) the other reps have always done it (since the management at the Bay is imbecilic and has a system of putting antitheft devices in the one spot that makes trying on clothing extremely uncomfortable - seriously guys, get a hint).
He begrudgingly obliged to move the device and put it on the OTHER SIDE OF THE WAISTBAND!!! I dropped my stack of $200 jeans and walked right out. I guess they prefer not to sell ~$400 worth of jeans and would rather pay their rent some other way.
Maybe the morons who run this company haven't figured out that it is IMPOSSIBLE to try fitted jeans on if they place a painful obstacle on the waistband that is measured for specific waist sizes... or I guess I am expected to try on jeans 2-4 sizes up so they will fit when I try them on.
Newsflash Bay: If buying clothing in person is pointless and aggravating, I will just try buying online. I didn't care what the prices were in store and the only reason I was there was because I don't get to Toronto as often as I used to (I previously saved my shopping until I went to the diesel store in yorkville) and I prefer to try on clothing before I buy it...
I'm not the type to complain online but after sending in a feedback email several months ago and never hearing back, what option did I have left? The bay sucks and I hope they go out of business. Time to make room for more intelligent, enterprising businesses to provide better alternatives to outdated and moronic business practices.
I won't even support your online store, even the one at a different domain. It's too bad an iconic and historic business had to end up in the hands of such ignorant management but I'll take comfort that in a competitive economy, bad businesses need to fail to make room for the good.

I love the Bay at polo park. The store has very upscale merchandise and lovely clothes. Today I saw the most beautiful array of prom dresses. Never saw so many lovely gowns at the Bay.
