Went to Sears today to pick out a mattress. We already knew which one we were looking for and after waiting for the sales associate for 10 minutes Leo came out to help us.
He was snarky and when we asked what he could tell us about the mattress he asked us "what do you wanna know?" and read the info tag while we answered. He then insisted we needed to buy an 80 dollar mattress pad to go with the bed because they wouldnt accept it as a return if we didnt. We already own a mattress pad and didnt need it, but tried to scare us into buying it and insisted we'd never return it without buying the pad.
Absolutely horrendous service by Sears completely uninterested in helping and simply looking at people as dollar signs

I purchased a mattress at Sears years ago and one of the springs broke and popped out the side of it. It was covered under warranty and we picked out a new one. The new one sagged out in about 7 months so we opened a warranty on this as well. When we picked out the new one the sales rep applied our original credit to the new mattress and had us pay the difference (even though we'd paid over and above the credit for the 2nd, so should be getting this credit as well as this was a warranty). He said that the extra would be refunded once the mattress was picked up and the new one delivered. I'm now on week 5 of waiting for an $800+ refund and every time I talk to somebody I'm told that it's being processed. Not good business practice! It makes no sense to me why this would have been processed that way and as I understand it the original rep may have been wrong in doing this. Yet I have to wait. They will not process it in store at this point.
I would not at all recommend anyone ever dealing with Sears for anything that may require warranty. Like sears. Can always get a good bargain and pretty nice merchandise . Went today and sears had really upped their game. Lovely bric a brac and some gourmet food. Gorgeous patio furniture and living room small pieces lamps etc. We got a air conditioner there and the staff very nice and helpful.

It's a good place for a bra fitting. You're allowed to browse and the sales girl makes sure you're fitted properly and you're happy with your choice. I recommend it for teen, first time fittings as the staff is understanding and respectful. You can find items on sale under $20 to higher end.
It would be nice if the perfume area was not in the front area in consideration for those with allergies or sensitivities.
The washrooms are uninsulated, so they are freezing in the winter and dirty. A male cleaner came in without a knock or announcement just as I was leaving and another lady had just went into a stall. The stalls have too wide of gaps between the doors.
The staff seem friendly. Not a very busy place. I have to wonder how they stay in business.
