Great hostel! Room are clean and good equipped. Hostel garden inside of the gate look incredible. Good located in city center. The best place to stay. And restaurant inside the hostel - they served one of the best food we ate in China. Fresh, tasty, big portion - absolutely amazing. Price for breakfast 30 yuan, dishes for dinner we paid 26-36 yuan.

Very cute little hostel! Absolutely beautiful courtyards and buildings. Very clean rooms, a little dark though. A really great place for such a low price. I would definitely recommend, especially if you're a solo traveller like myself. It's very accommodating and safe.

The best hostel experience I've ever had. We were looking to try as much local food as possible, and the hostel staff (Peter and some of the girls) took us out for the day at no extra cost to try a ridiculous range of food. We would never have found all the foods we were looking for, or discovered so many new ones without their help.
Additionally, the Chinese food at the hostel is fantastic and cheap, and it's in some incredibly beautiful buildings. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable (but it's still a hostel so quite basic). Showers were very good, toilets were average.

A bit pricy but you are paying for the atmosphere. Old Chinese style building. I like the heating system in the common area. Internet is fast. Dorm a bit smelly. The have washing and drying machines!
