This place is Awesome. I went on saturday night so they had live music. A full band with singer and it was awesome with the patrons dancing salsa in between the tables. Food was good but slightly overpriced. The beer pricing was fine but 120,000 pesos for a shot of vodka? they are insane. This is the bar that Gabriel Garcia Marquez and his friends dubbed the Baranquilla group hung out. this place is HISTORIC. They have books that Alfonso Fuenmayor was paid with from the newspaper. in a shelf. with only a glass separating me. I wanted to steal those books. sigh.
There are pictures of Gabo everywhere...as well as the painting of Alejandro Obregon, friend of Gabo and part of the Baranquilla group. I want to live here.
