Simply put, stayed here 9 days, been to 17 countries....The city is stunning and safe, if you find anything wrong with this hotel, it is you that is the problem, not the hotel. You cannot have a better staff, food, location, services, and spa.....we look forward in returning to this hotel as we provide support to those that come to this plasic surgery capital of the world. In a word this hotel is 'inconsistent'. Good location, close to main shopping malls. Lovely pool area (but was often closed for maintenance). Staff, some fantastic, some with poor attitude. Food is below average, rooms are average, check out was slow, mini bar is a rip off, not enough staff speak English (although my Spanish was good enough to ask for most things). Staff at the hotel didn't seem happy (false smiles), not convinced the management have the right leadership .... in fact I barely recall seeing a manager in 12 days at the hotel.... that says it all.
