Would of been 5 star but they messed up breakfast bad. Ordered fried eggs got a omelette that i didnt order.

The Charlee is a nice hotel and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, it did not live up to our expectations or the price. We stayed in an "Acqua" room with a private outdoor jacuzzi. First, the outdoor jacuzzi is not a hot tub or a plunge pool. It required filling every time we wanted to use it, like an enormous bath tub. (It has no heating mechanism; you just have to add hot water.) It not only seemed like a huge waste of water but was very time consuming to fill. The hotel charges significantly more for those rooms, and we found the jacuzzi to be almost useless. Second, Mondays are usually the day the pool is reserved for guests only, but when we went to use the pool, we were told it was closed for a private event. I don't know if that happens frequently, but we were frustrated not to be able to use the pool when we were spending $320 a night to stay at the hotel. Third, our room was situated next to the housekeeping closet, and starting at 6 am, we could hear constant chatting as if people were in our bathroom. Everyone has the right to converse at work, but in a luxury hotel, a better design is expected or at least better soundproofing. Lastly, it really did not bother us, but people booking a room should know that even on the highest floors you can hear the music from the bars below throughout the night. Otherwise, the gym is really nice, and Envy and the pool have an amazing view of the city. The hotel is also in a great location.

Absolutely amazing place! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here because of the great service, awesome gym, and beautiful architecture.
