Beautiful staff, family atmosphere and great energy ! During my long term stay of 3 weeks I loved this place, Grand Hostel Medellin literally became a home for me. Best kitchen I have seen ever in a hostel, clean, relaxed atmosphere and outdoor area with hammocks and the perfect location ! It's 10 min close to poblado centro, 5 min walk to poblado metro station, 3 min to the next huge supermarket and a calm, peaceful neigbouhood. The owner also speaks perfectly English. To sum it up, I DEFINTELY recommend everybody at any time to stay with Gran Hostel Medellin !

Nice place and well located, close to many restaurants and bars.

Great hostel, great location, very friendly staff. The kitchen is nice; we cooked every morning and often at night as well. Only complaint would be that my friend got rained on at night, but they reduced the price for her. A very comfortable place to be; I stayed longer than I had been expecting to stay.

The beds are not that comfortable. However I recommend this hostel for the kindness of the people. The garden is a good spot to chill
