Great place to escape the busy city life for a couple of hours.

Several hikes in beautiful nature. Maybe a bit tricky to find some trails - but once you’re there, you can enjoy beautiful nature and silence.

Highly recommended for a day trip or just to relax for a while.

You can only do one walk/trail by yourself, otherwise you have to pay for a guide and go on a tour. Doesn't cost much but not great if you just want to mooch about

The experience of getting there is equal if not greater than once you arrive. That being said, I have yet to discover an area on the mountainous, outskirts of Medellin that isn't beautiful. The ski-lift is unique.

After reading other reviews online I realize we may have missed a significant portion of this park.
Went early afternoon midweek and arrived in an empty park. With no one to follow, and speaking little to no Spanish we wandered the area surrounding the gondola station. With nothing catching our interest here, no interest in walking alongside a highway, and staff stopping us from trail hiking we rode the gondola back down.
Gondola ride was nice.

Wow, really peaceful and beautiful. Wonderful spot. It is administrated with professional care and the way it is set up was very well done. It's clean and educational. Since there are many tourists, I would recommend guided tours in other languages. The tram ride to and from the park is wonderful, too.
