I emailed poas directly to get a quote before my trip. There were a few better price companies but Allen at poas kept asking me whatelse he could do and he matched price and a GPS phone for no charge. Once we got there, every staffs were very kind and helpful. Unfortunately during the trip, our car got broken into and the GPS phone got stolen. When I contacted poas right after the incident, Jose the operation manager explained to me what to do next but more so he showed his concern for our safety.
When we returned the car, he was very professional and quick to process all the paper work for them/ me to file a claim to insurance company.
After I found out what document I need to file from my end, he prepared everything and emailed them to me.
From start to the end, they really did help me out. If I ever go back, I sure use their service again. Thanks to Allen and Jose and all the staffs.

Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo noleggiato un 4x4 in Costa Rica a Liberia presso Poas, per due settimane con assicurazione "full tpl" (FTPL) che copre anche così eventuali graffi o botte che puoi causare all'auto durante l'uso. Abbiamo avuto un problema durante il viaggio e la macchina ci è stata prontamente sostituita senza alcun costo aggiuntivo. Nessuna sgradita sorpresa, personale corretto e cordiale. Ve lo consigliamo!

No issues. Car had 130kms on it but didn't. Run into any maintenance issues. They explained the required TPL charges well, and explained how to opt out of their CDW fees by providing written proof of alternative insurance. A but expensive when factoring in insurance compared with what we Americans are used to when we normally decline all charges but a good experience overall.
