I reserved the car ahead of time on-line. They picked us up at the airport and returned us as promised. The price was acceptable until I arrived and they asked about using the car on the highway where there were toll roads. I said we would be going to the end of the Island and would just pay at each toll. I was informed that you couldn't always pay at some tolls because they only allow autoexpress tags. They offered to provide autoexpress for $10 per day. But out of our ten days in Puerto Rico we were only going to need the toll pass for three Days! It was $100 or nothing! No other offer. I declined. When I approached the first toll, I pulled over to the "pay as you go" line and the attendant said, "You can't pay cash, you have a autoexpess sticker and it has already been charged! Besides, there is more than $1,000 dollars on that toll pass" (No wonder if they get $10 a day from suckers). I used the sticker several other times during the three days we needed it and figured at $.75 for each toll, I had racked up a whopping $11.25 worth of use. Upon returning the car, I explained what I had done, since I had no other choice to pay at the toll booth. They said when someone uses the autoexpress after declining to pay up front, there is a $50 charge. But they lowered it to $40. This game is an excessive rip-off.
Upon returning home I contacted other car rentals and found that one simply add the amount used and charged the customer for that. Another charges $4.95 per day once you begin using the tag. No charge if unused. Another charged for the amount used plus an extra fee for the use. There appears to be no standard practice at the different car rentals, so customers must be very diligent in finding out about this issue before renting a car. It could make a BIG difference in the total price.

do not use this company they are thieves, I paid in full for a car I rented from them and two days after returning to England they stole $1200 from my account and also did not refund my $500 deposit totalling $1700 , when I spoke to them they blamed the bank saying that it was in their hands now,i asked why they cannot simply transfer the money back to my account from their company account and they then said the money is floating and they do not know where it is...There are many reviews on tripadvisor from people with similar cases where they have either over charged,frauded credit cards and like myself took money from account without any authorisation..

We were satisfied with the car and service USave car rental company provided. I was able to negotiate a better deal over email with its manager. While picking up the car the representative was very well speaking English and didn't press us hard trying to sell an extra insurance. Overall I'd definitely recommend this rental company to my friend.

These guys picked us up at the airport. Very basic services and car options. A bit pricey, but they were very friendly and kind. The staff was bilingual.
