Have been staying in this hotel for years when I visit CR. They have been in renovation mode the last few years.. Clean comfortablertable rooms. A little dated but beds are newer and very comfortable. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is fantastic.

Lovely hotel. Sakura Japanese restaurant was divine. Pizzas from room service were excellent

Had an easy time checking in. No elevators so you will need to haul your luggage up a flight of stairs. Our bathroom had a corner shower that leaked onto our bathroom floor while using it. Jetted tub was nice. Hot tub and pool area were great. Breakfast was consistently good. Nice gift shop, casino and large entry you can gather. Easy walk across the bridge to the mall.

I liked the Wyndham Hotel because the service there was unspeakably quick! Although I only know a limited amount of Spanish, I didn't have a hard time communicating with the staff. The rooms are exquisite, they have a decent amount of space, large bathrooms, TV's, coffee makers, and amazing views. The pools at Wyndham are amazing, they aren't too deep so kids can easily swim in them, the water is at a decent temperature, and there is a mini waterfall in one of them. There are 4 hot tubs, they are in one big hot tub that has half a foot of water around it. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in San Jose, Costa Rica and looking for a nice hotel.
