We chose the hotel based on it's proximity to both the national park and the beach. The hotel us small and private and the staff are attentive and pleasant. The hotel shares a border with the national park so you can see a lot of wildlife just sitting in the gardens and there is a white tailed deer that is fairly tame and visits regularly. The breakfast is basic but has everything you would need.
Unfortunately the gardens and grounds are rather tired looking with a lot of rubbish such as old pieces of metal fencing around. Whilst we were there, there was incredibly loud building works, which we were not warned about and left us unable to relax due to the incredible amount of noise.
If the grounds were tidied and when the building works stop, I would happily recommend to someone wanting to stay in Manuel Antonio.

I am in love with this place. Small, clean, quiet, gorgeous and safe!!!!!! I will definitely return. The pool is just perfect and the staff is amazing. Oliver and Rafa are the best.. everyone is chill and accommodating. Always someone at the front desk if u need anything. The grounds are breathing taking. Green and plants are nothing like u ever seen. The breafast is yum!!!! Try the traditional breakfast coata rican style.. they have other stuff on the menu. Cereal juices etc.... pay for the breakfast included trust me!!! There are lizards, igunas, birds and the hotel mascot nina, a sweet loving deer you can feed and pet. The hotel room garden suite the one we stayed in is small clean and perfect. No bugs inside.. the airconditioner and ceiling fan works amazing.. so you can hang out in the room and sleep very comfortable ... outside is hot and humid.
This hotel is 3 minutes away from the beach and right in front of the national park. You are in the heart of the town. You can walk anywhere... im in love and soo happy i choose la posada.

The pool met the kids needs, complimentary breakfast saved us Hassle and literally at the gate to park.
