Perfect stop off for the wonder- lust traveler looking to kick back a couple nights. Beautiful atmosphere, good communal energy, +laundry service !

1, Never walk in, even this means you help them to save some booking fee, in return, they will still charge you 30% more, the reason they gave is that they have to work more, which basiclally means to write down your name and country.
2, Not as the website claimed, the dorm is actully 12 beds, with one bathroom, and the mattress really uncomfortable.
3, No hot water, not even warm, if you want to get fresh at night, you will get it.
4、Internet in the room is really weak, mostly can't get internet on bed.
5, next to the train station，loud since 5am.
6，staff not bad，but still suggest consider some other same price hostel which is better and including breakafast.

Great hostel for my first night in San Jose. Helpful staff, great location, and I slept like a baby. Great choice if you are looking for a more mellow hostel experience.

Advertised as a 6 beddorm we had to sleep in an open "room" with 9 beds on questionable matresses, toilets weren't in the best shape and organizational problems were the cherry on the top. For a one night stay without being picky it's okay, other than that I definetely wouldn't recommend this as the false advertising could also be judged as scam

Awesome spot. Few minute walk from the bars and mall. Staff had young cute girl and dude that owned a trained attack dog, both super nice and bilingual which was convenient for booking trips to the beach, atv, etc. I think there was only 1 shower and 2 toilets.. No pooping allowed haha I'm guessing the old building has poor plumbing.
