It's interesting. It's a city hub and gives you insight into the diversity of the city. There is culture all around, the market, Museum of Costar Rica and the Jade Museum It may be intimidating to those who are not familiar with a metro city.

Nice little area with an outdoor stage and seating squeezed between the National Museum, artisan market, and Jade Museum. Downtown and plenty of restaurants and shops are within walking distance. We were there after dark and there was a little slow going on. Mostly families with kids were in attendance, so it felt very safe and it was fun to dance along! Besides the stage though, it's mostly an area to walk through.

Nice little park between the artisan dealers and the National Museum. Great spot to hang out with some friends and shoot the breeze.
