Very nice hotel, room was big and clean with nice amenities. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the immediate beach access was so nice. Having a top notch French bakery downstairs on the grounds doesn't hurt! If you're going to Tamarindo Beach, this is where you want to stay.

I had a wonderful time. Spotless room with a view of the ocean, a big comfy bed, hot water, television, a/c, reliable wifi.
The ladies that run the hotel, Sandy and Trish, are amazing. Very warm and helpful.
And the adjoining restaurant and French bakery serve the best food I've had in Costa Rica. Prepared with love. I highly recommend the corvina (sea bass).
This is THE spot to stay at in Tamarindo. It's worth double what they charge per night.

We have stayed there a number of times - I lost count, every year for maybe 10 years. I guess that tells the story, we keep going back! Wonderful people - set back but nothing between you and the beach / ocean. It is just at the beginning of town so you don't deal with the noise and crowds of Tamarindo. The bakery is wonderful and don't tell them but very reasonable.
