A decent hotel for Costa Rica. In room A/C was nice but a street facing room with non-opaque curtains left us feeling on edge. No in room refrigerator and poor English relative to other places we stayed in Costa Rica. The shower and restroom were nice and included soap, conditioner and body wash.
The restaurant (also above our room and loud) was good but rather high priced. Access to the nearly private beach was just a minute walk down a trail.

We were introduced to Costa Rica and this restaurant by a long time family friend Marco Sanchez (Amigo realty). We vacationed in Playa Grande for a week and enjoyed a breakfast, lunch and dinner at the RipJack restaurant. It is an open air establishment, but with fans that move the air and keep it comfortable. The menus for all meals are written on chalk boards that you pass on the way to your seats. We found many things to enjoy though are favorites were the fish tacos. The cocktails were also very tasty and the service was attentive. We highly recommend RipJack.

Lovely bar/restaurant. We stopped at RipJack Inn's tree top restaurant for dinner and lunch. I had the Cajun tuna and loved it so much I had to go back a second night for it. The smashed plantains were AMAZING!
Other things to note:
They have a great currency rate if you don't have colones. They also have wifi for guests. Yoga classes are offered in the morning which I might check out later.

I love the intimacy of this place. We got to know several of the people staying here and had fun chatting. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff was so friendly. The office staff were GREAT. They were so helpful and nice. They gladly helped book anything and everything and gave great advice on things to do. This place also can't be any closer to the beach! My husband and I had a great time and will definitely be staying here again sometime.
