We were lost, frustrated and starving. As we stopped at this place to get directions we decided to eat a pizza once we saw a huge dome oven just outside the palapa burning some mean wood.
We ordered a large Margarita pizza and a Ceasar's salad with grilled chicken.
We ate everything and were surprised by the A+ quality of the meal and the amazing service we received right in the middle of a dirt road going to beautiful Playa Grande. A must stop for the pie lovers out there.

Welcomed by friendly staff. Promptly brought our drink order and took our food order. We were grateful to have placed our order before a large group. Approx. 20 minutes later, my dish arrived at our table. My husband's pizza did not. We waited patiently, but after another 5 minutes, my husband insisted that I start eating my meal. While waiting for his pizza, he finished his drink and we both sat with empty water glasses. We were being ignored. Another 10 minutes passed and we flagged down a server (they were all avoiding our eyes by this point). She said she would check on his pizza. She went to the terminal but not to the pizza kitchen, which has us believing that she forgot to place the order altogether. Eventually, my husband abandoned hope for his meal and asked for the bill. Server said she would get it. Ignored. Husband went up to the cash register. Spoke with another server and asked for our bill. He said he would get it. Ignored. Back at our table, we flagged down yet another server and asked for the bill. She said she would get it. Ignored. Finally, my husband went to the main kitchen to demand our bill. The male server asked him to wait a moment. He refused and, FINALLY, the manager got involved. He provided excuse after excuse. My husband said that if there was an issue in the kitchen, they should have held my meal so that they could be served together. He again offered excuses but finally removed the pizza from our bill. We were offered Limoncello while we waited and the manager finally took 30% off our bill. But that hardly makes up for the lack of customer service and apathy towards their customers.

Outdoor dining in a nice atmosphere. Pizzas are cooked in an outdoor wood oven. Super delicious! The food is so good this place is often pretty full.

Great little place in Playa Grande. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We all ordered the special of the night, which turned out to be an all-you-can-eat pizza sampling. Every 5-10 minutes, a waiter comes around with a different pizza, and you can choose to have a piece, or not. It's a great way to try all their different pizzas (or as many as you can) for a reasonable price.
