Food is decent but lacks flavour. While everything is well priced, the place seems very basic and needs better ventilation so you do not carry the smell of food for the rest of the day.
Stake tartare while served with a variety of add-ons was underwhelming in taste.

Decent food at good price. Friendly and helpful service. Good atmosphere.The outside could be a little bit tidier, but I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

Nice hidden place. Good food ,not too expensive. We were lucky as there was a free jazz concert played in the alley.

Well, my review could be a bit biased - I was here last year and came again in April 2017. The memory of the black beer goulash haunted me the whole year and I just had to have it one more time. I was not disappointed, it tasted just as good as the first time :-)
Whatever you do, you should probably not order a Caesar salad in a traditional Czech restaurant. My two female companions did exactly that and were a bit surprised by the egg on top of the plate (sunny side up).
The atmosphere is great inside the cellar and if you are lucky (or unlucky, however you look at it) there's a local band playing old Czech folk songs. Our dog complained a bit about the fiddler :D
Don't think there are many locals in the place but who cares - it's a nice experience.
