I'm not Egyption! I went to this bookstore ad I heard a lot about this bookshop from friends... unfortunately it was way below of expectations starting from the ambience ..dust all over the place..books variety is limited.. didn't find lots of international authors nor the books I wanted...and above all people were working there were rude and not welcoming the tourists!

One of the oldest bookshop in Cairo. They have a very good collection. Their prices are quite expensive.

I think they have stopped dealing in Ismaili books like Daim al Islam and Iftitah al Dawah etc.
