Came for a quick jaunt around Azhar park, to escape the traffic jams of downtown Cairo. Very beautiful and relaxing place. Sunset was fast approaching so we decided to eat at the Studio Masr restaurant, located on a small (within the park) and offers a stunning view of almost the entire park. The quality of food here was fantastic, very cheap in price but delicious. Tried the chicken broth soup, the starter platter with several small dishes to try from and the studio masr mixed grill, which was filling. Could make out the pyramids in the distance and when the call to prayer sounded, it made for a beautiful and unforgettable evening. Customer service was slow but the manager came out and helped to speed things up. Great place for tourists, couples and families.
