Amazing service they made us feel so welcome. Its very secure and all the staff are so helpful. Very convinient location as well.

Sofitel in Gezira is a great hotel at a beautiful location directly at the Nile bank. A great variety of restaurants and cuisines with an amazing terrace over the Nile. We were most delighted from the very high diversity of the breakfast buffet and especially of the extreme helpful and polite service of the whole personnel. Mohamed was always there with bright smile and useful tips as well as Hayam for our many questions on Kairo. Our personal insider tip after an intensive tour of the city is to let be pampered from the two afternoon waiters of the lounge "window on the Nile" with small Egyptian appetizers and well prepared drinks. We felt like at home and we will definitely come back to Cairo and it's Sofitel

We really enjoyed our stay in the Sofitel hotel. The service was great and all the employees were always friendly and trying to help. But they were not prepared for the three of us, even so we reservated for three peoples. The location was although very beautiful. We enjoyed very much having a very good breakfast at the Nile with the view on the other side. In generell the location was very beautiful and we enjoyed the bar on the Nile. We are looking forward to come back to the hotel if we visit Cairo again.

There was too much noise on the rooms around ours, people drunk and smoking. The front desk did not do anything about it until we went down at 5 am with our suitcases demanding to leave. There, they decided to take action and sent us to another room on another floor (they said it was a superior room but not quite). Restaurant and general service very good

I was a guest at this fantastic location for a lucky 3-months on a company job. During my entire stay, the staff was exceptionally professional and catered to our every need which included outside-of-hotel activities and liaisons.
The location is magnificent with a spectacular view of Cairo and the pyramids on the background. A multitude of exquisite restaurants abound in the island and all within a conservative walk if you want to venture to the opposite side on foot; although I would recommend a cab.
All in all, the hotel is great but the staff made it fantastic.
