A block from across the market, locally sourced top ingredients: you can stroll through the markets and the menu reflects what you just saw that is in season....st jacque dishes is a MUST and not to be missed...my grilled seabass is a good 2 lb plus entry..exceptional..excellently prepared..great service..a candidate to break the rule to repeat visit to a restaurant within one trip

We ate here three years ago and made the effort to come back because the quality of the food is just so good. Service is friendly and polite. Recommendation of the day was the turbot and it was truly excellent. Highly recommend.

One of the best affordable restaurants in La Rochelle. Cooked food, well served, correctly priced. Very varied menu. Decently priced wines selected to fit with the food.Charming reception and engaging original decor. Does not get too loud, even with the lunchtime crowd.
Has, up till now, been missed by most tourists. Let's keep it that way.
