It has always been my favourite place in Lyon, enven when I lived there! I always found something interesting to see or to taste there... :) You have to try everything! It's a must!

We had a guided tour of this food palace. It is the most modern market we've ever been to. Similar to the concept of Oscar Farinetti's Eataly empire. Dedicated to Paul Bocuse, the vendors are all top grade.

Nice market. Remains strange that some shops closes during lunch times while others need to be open for a food market. But nice shops and for all something to find. In the food capital of France I expected a bit more so 4 in stead of 5 stars.

Great activity on a hot Lyon day. There a re a ton of little shops and restaurants in Les Halles, so you can easily visit 3 or 4 times (which I did). My favorite spot was the seafood restaurant in the center and AOC right at the entrance.
