Hotel in bad shape and "Sorry we only have smoking rooms left" (Booking marked non-smoking). Go somewhere else. Update: Got non-smoking room with renovated bathroom... much better.

The night before I asked for a taxi at 4 am at the receptionist who told me that the cost was 25 euros. At 4am I found a car that was definitely not a taxi, which made me pay 35 euros and did not give me a valid tax receipt! I was in a hurry and did not dispute anything, but I feel that there are unlawful agreements behind.

Very convenient location just 3min by foot from Terminal 1. Very friendly and helpful staff. Basic rooms but clean with sufficient space and comfortable beds. Fair room and breakfast prices. Free wifi. Parking for 8eur/day in adjacent public parking.

The hotel was within walking distance of the airport, which is very convenient. If landing in terminal 2, there is a bus to terminal 1 that makes it a much shorter walk. Check in was easy. The rooms were clean but small. Bathroom was small but functional. My biggest complaint is that the bed was so hard I barely slept. I was there overnight between flights, which is the longest I would stay here. However, next time at the Nice airport, I will be looking for another hotel.

I work occasionally with a company that puts me in this hotel. So, I've stayed here 3 times and every time has been a very bad experience. The hotel staff is very disorganized, rude and has no concept of basic customer service. The first 2 times I stayed here, the staff misplaced the paperwork which authorizes them to charge my company's credit card. The first time, I was forced to pay out of pocket because of the late check-in, and the second time I was forced to sit aside while my company resent papers to the hotel to authorize the charges, after which hotel staff apologized and admitted to having misplaced the original paperwork. The third time I stayed here, I arrived at 11am and and was forced to wait 1-hour because "check-in starts at noon". In a hotel of 7 floors and 150 rooms, they could have made an exception and allowed me to check-in early if they wanted to. So, to sum it up: please avoid this hotel. You deserve better even if you're on a tight budget.
